Calling all arrowhead enthusiasts, rock hounds, and history buffs! We offer large screen digs on most weekends, Saturdays and Sundays. Come sift for arrowheads, stone artifacts, topaz, quartz, and other minerals.
Paleo artifacts, older than archaic, have been found on property. Topaz has also been confirmed.
Stay a full day, from sun up to sun down, or better yet, come for both days and stay overnight on the ranch! Reserve our cozy cabin (complete with a kitchen and bathroom) or enjoy one of our many primitive campsites under the stars.
Catered lunch is available to add-on so you can keep hydrated and fueled for digging. We recently brought in barbecue plates from David’s Old Fashioned Pit BBQ in Fredericksburg.
Digs are youth group and family friendly. It is a great way to bond, gather in nature, and learn about ancient human history. Discounts can be made available for groups of 5 or more and kids are always free!
