The ranch is amazing - full of horses, jackrabbits, deer, and cattle. We explored the creek that had some of the water running through and was refreshing to just walk along it and search for artifacts, which a lot of enthusiasts were there to do as well!
Our experience at the Wendelfull Life Ranch over the long Memorial Day Holiday was truly wonderful!
I especially liked that Maggi took the time to show us around the property and recommend good spots to camp when we first arrived. We ended up choosing a perfect little clearing under an enormous oak tree near the pond.
Great way to make great memories and enjoy nature at it finest. Love this place! Maggi is such a great host and made us feel like family. She always make sure you're taken care of.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time camping out at Maggi's ranch last weekend! It's a true gem! Maggi's directions to the ranch were very thorough, and she made sure to greet us when we arrived. We were lucky enough to hitch a ride with Maggi up to the pond since our car couldn't make it up there (the views up there are worth the bumpy ride!).
Man, this camping trip was better than my expectations. We had a great camping spot with plenty of shade, a big pond that was spring fed and cool for fishing and swimming, and an awesome dig site for arrowhead hunting.
It's A Wendelful Life and the views were gorgeous! We rented the cabin which is quite awesome with all the amenities! We did some digging today. Our hosts are amazing people and we are having a most enjoyable time! Can't wait to see what we find tomorrow. Today I found a piece of Indian jewelry!
Absolutely beautiful ranch with a variety of terrain. Private, peaceful, and rejuvenating. Plenty of rock and artifact hunting. Definitely primitive camping but so worth it. Maggi is a great host!
